What kind of materials do you use for creating dice?
I use only high quality epoxy resin, resin pigments, inks and inclusions to make unique hand made dice sets.
How are the dice made?
The dice are made with casting epoxy resin, poured into silicone molds that I make myself using specially crafted master dice. Next I cure the resin under high pressure for 24 hours to eliminate bubbles. Then the dice cure in isolation for up to two weeks to fully harden before each gets sanded and polished to a high shine. Finally, the numbers are inked and the dice are ready.
But are they balanced?
Aside from dice specifically created for gambling, even bigger manufacturers’ sets are not perfectly balanced and my dice, as they are produced in a pressure pot, are often far clearer than mass-produced sets. I pay close attention to weight, density, and placement of inclusions, shape and sharpness of corners and angles, and test roll each of my designs.
What about the package?
Your set will arrive beautifully presented and completely giftable in a black faux leather bag. The packaging is branded with my logo and it can serve as a storage for your dice between games. As a small gift, you’ll also get a sticker, wax seal with Seer Dice logo and some Polish sweets:)
Why do they have such a high price point?
Making artisan dice takes lots of hours of skilled labor. Also costs are higher than factory mass production. The rates I charge reflect the quality of my work and time invested into dice making.
